Our University Level Support Service Center, located in Roanoke, VA is experiencing continued growth, and we are looking to add some fresh faces to our Admissions team. Our Admissions Representatives are the first point of contact for prospective students and we are looking for engaging, warm, enthusiastic individuals who will quickly create meaningful relationships. An Admissions Representative must be passionate about the value of higher education and have a desire to help our students take the first step in continuing their education!

• The role of the Admissions Representative is to reach out to individuals via phone (or through video conferencing), take incoming calls, and place outbound calls to prospective students in a team environment.
• Admissions Representatives interview prospective students to determine their motivation for attending college; understand their career goals and the obstacles that might prevent them from starting or continuing their education; help them to overcome those obstacles; and ultimately help them identify the degree-program that best fit for them.
• Once a prospective student decides to enroll, Admissions will guide them through the admissions process, responding to questions, linking them to financial aid and academic advisors, and gathering the documents necessary to start school.

Ideal candidates possess the following qualities:

• Associate’s Degree required
• Student-centered philosophy in support of academic excellence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on quick response time
• Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to learn and use necessary technology quickly and adeptly
• Adaptability; able to succeed in a fast-paced and every-changing work environment
• Strong time management skills, self-motivated and goal oriented
